Suunto Ambit2 S now in white

Suunto Ambit2 S WhiteSuunto has introduced a stylish white edition of the Ambit2 S, the GPS watch comes with a soft, elastic silicone strap for improved comfort and fit for female athletes.

The Ambit2 S GPS watch is the perfect partner for your sporting activities, whether you want to go cycling, running, swimming — or take part in other outdoor sports. It provides accurate pace, distance and heart rate monitoring.

To coincide with the release, Suunto asked its female Ambit owners to come up with ideas for Apps that they would like to use. Dozens of suggestions came in, from the serious to the fun, and two have been selected to be created by the Suunto team. These will be made available to download on Suunto's unique Appzone. They are:

  • Workout & Refuel App: Inspired by Aleksandra Mikołajczak and Miriam Plana, this App will help you fuel your body the right way after your exercise by showing you how many grams of fat, protein and carbs you should eat. The App is all about energy consumption.

  • Workout Celebration App: Inspired by Nina Sibley. This App is all about rewarding yourself after a good workout. During your exercise the App alerts you when you have done enough to celebrate with a glass of Champagne — and if you exercise long enough you could deserve a bottle!

The Suunto Appzone allows users to customize their watch by choosing from thousands of Apps to download. Other examples include Apps that give your estimated finish time while running a 10k or marathon, Apps that will count your swimming laps, while others help with serious training analysis.

Comments President of Suunto, Mikko Moilanen: “We are happy to see that the Ambit 2 S has been so well received by our consumers. The new White edition adds a touch of style to the range and new level of comfort for women. The new Apps join thousands of other Apps that can be found online which offer users unrivalled customization options.”
