We also continue to seek your feedback and insights to make the Suunto Spartan solution stronger together.
We have delivered updates to the Suunto Spartan solution in September, October, November, December, and January. We continue with this release and further into the spring of 2017.
New customizations are now available for sport modes, including seven-field displays, tracking power and editing pool length. Activities in factory modes now include heart rate, altitude and speed data shown in graphs so you can follow your progress and trends during your activity and after. Also, you can now identify and save Points of Interest in Navigation view.
25th January - We are excited to bring you a GPS-focused update.
GLONASS is now available to use for activities in conjunction with GPS in BEST accuracy mode. This update also brings a new GPS firmware to improve general tracking accuracy. We will continue to monitor overall GPS performance as we know it is an important part of your experience.
19th December – We are excited to deliver the first phase of sport mode customization. You can create and customize new sport modes on your Suunto Spartan from Suunto Movescount.com. You can sync up to 19 new custom modes on your Spartan at a time. Each activity type (i.e. trail running) can have several different custom modes, including newly added metrics like altitude, temperature and PTE. Additional functionality will be added to sport mode customization in the new year.
This update also allows you to view planned moves on your Suunto Spartan, see altitude barometer graph in daily view, sport-specific summary screens, as well as set daily step and calorie goals on your Spartan.
As we release this update, we are testing a GPS-specific update to address inconsistent GPS behaviour experienced by some users. This update is planned for January 2017.
30th November – We are excited to bring you the Progress Tool and Personal Bests to Suunto Movescount. You will now be able to see your progress and personal bests in a range of endurance sports, as well as peer-group comparisons to show you how your performance stacks up. These features, in combination with our earlier release of Community Training Insights, will inspire you to get more out of your training and adventures.
3rd November – Today, we are excited to release an update bringing you the Community Training Insights in Suunto Movescount.com. With this update you will get the individualized benefits of one of the world's first training tools to leverage big data based on real-world activities. We've analyzed more than 100 million training sessions of the Suunto Movescount community so you can get more out of all your moves. In our commitment to deliver updates as soon as possible, we are releasing this feature separately from the Progress Tool and Personal Bests, which will be delivered as soon as we ensure they will meet your expectations and ours.
