Kilian Jornet Named one of National Geographic Adventure's Top Adventurers of the Year

Every year for the past eight years, National Geographic Adventure has nominated 10 "Adventurers of the Year" based on “extraordinary achievement in exploration, conservation, humanitarianism and adventure sports.” Alongside nominations, the website posts photos, interviews and videos of all 10 nominees so you can get to know the people behind the adventures.

This year, Suunto ambassador, Kilian Jornet was nominated as one of 10 adventures for his extraordinary abilities as a mountain runner and mountaineer. National Geographic asks you to promote your choice Adventurer of the Year and cast a vote to name one of the 10 nominees as The People’s Choice Adventurer of the Year. Voting lasts through January 31 and the People’s Choice Adventurer of the Year will be announced in February 2014.
