The ice-climbing season has arrived!

Renowned ice climber Matthias Scherer is welcoming the 2013 European season with an Ice Opening event in Cogne, Italy this weekend. Ice climbers from all over the world will be gathering in the event.

Ice-climbing clinics and workshops – including mountain guide Fabian Mayer’s orientation training with the Suunto Ambit2 – as well as the Saturday night film show will keep the visitors busy and entertained. This exciting and athletic discipline is a perfect example of why we love the mountains.
