Suunto continues its 75th anniversary celebrations with the launch of the Suunto Vector Red

Suunto, a global leader in sports precision instruments, announces a new, seasonal Red edition of its legendary Suunto Vector outdoor device.

Suunto Vector RedLaunched in 1998 and designed to withstand the harshest of environments, the Vector was Suunto’s first outdoor sports instrument. Over the years, it has become the instrument of choice for hundreds of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts. As part of its 75th anniversary celebrations, Suunto is proud to announce a special Red edition of this classic outdoor device.

Suunto Vector Red features an altimeter with vertical speed measurement and altitude alarm, a barometer with an automatic memory and pressure-difference measurement to aid weather forecasting, as well as an easy-to-read digital compass with declination adjustment.

“Since its introduction in 1998 Suunto Vector has become a distinguished outdoor icon that’s trusted by adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts all over the world,” says Simo Soini, Product Manager at Suunto. “What better way to celebrate our 75th anniversary than with a new Red version of this iconic product ready for the Christmas season?”

Suunto Vector Red will be available at selected retailers from November 2011.
