The Catalan athlete won the Spanish cross-country skiing championship on Sunday morning in Boi Taull, in a race which he dominated right from the start.
“I started off together with Marc Pinsach, but at the end of the first upward slope I was able to leave him behind and I maintained that lead and so won the race. I was a little tired, due to the long car journey yesterday and the long weeks of hard training,” Killian commented at the end of the race.
“I’m really pleased about winning this trophy. Now it’s time to rest, recoup my energy and think about next weekend and the first race of the World Cup in Andorra,” explained the Catalan athlete, who will spend the week training in Andorra and the Cerdanya.
FUTURE EVENTS:
Next week Killian will take part in the first race of the cross-country skiing world cup which will take place in Andorra.
