How much battery life can I expect?
The average battery life is 12-18 months, depending on usage. The backlight, alarm and heart rate monitoring consume more power than other functions. When the low-battery warning symbol appears on the display, 5 – 15% of battery capacity still remains. This should give you enough time to safely change the battery.
Is the Wristop Computer waterproof?
Our products are tested with ISO (international Organization for standardization) standard 2281. This means that product is water-resistant. In addition to the term "water resistant" watches may be marked with an indication of the test overpressure given as a pressure in bar (3bar) or in the sense of a substitute as a depth in meters (30 meters). These indications however do not correspond to a diving depth but refer to the pressure at which the water overpressure test was conducted.
All Suunto wristop computers can be used for normal swimming but none should be taken below a depth of 2-3 meters. The exception to this is the Core which can be taken to a depth of 10 meters.
Buttons should not be pressed under water on models other than the Core and Military X-Lander.
Remember the Wristop Computer is NOT A DIVING DEVICE.
