How to solve a DLL Problem?
After updating the Windows XP with the security patch from Microsoft (released April 3, 2007) the Suunto Trek Manager software will no longer run. Instead the following error message box appears:
"The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the dll c:\windows\system32\hhctrl.ocx occupied an address range reserved for Windows System DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."
"Hotfix" solution
Microsoft has issued a "hotfix" for this, which can be downloaded from their knowledgebase article 935448. The link is: support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/en-us
Please, remember to choose the same language for the installed fix as you have for your Windows, otherwise the installation will fail.
