Did you know that you can add features to your Ambit with the help of Suunto Apps? The Apps are Suunto product features that have been created by members of the Movescount community. You can find existing Suunto Apps in Movescount’s App Zone to customize your watch like you want.
As an example of already existing Suunto Apps, there's an app that lets you see your estimated finish time on a marathon; or another one that lets you know the real incline of the hill you're heading up.
Getting started with the Apps is easy: simply find an App you like and save it. Then add it to a desired sport mode and sync it to your Ambit.
In this step-by-step tutorial you will see how to take a Suunto App in use.
The use of the Apps differs based on their functions. Some of the Apps run automatically, like the App that estimates the remaining run time on a 10 km run, others, like the Rest countdown timer, are controlled by the user. In this case the action is controlled by pressing the lap button.
More details in the use of specific Apps is given on the App’s page in the App Zone.
