Emelie Forsberg is joining Suunto as an ambassador

Emelie Forsberg, the trail running champion, is joining Suunto as an ambassador. The 26-year-old Swede has electrified the trail running scene with her talent and charm. Her list of wins includes Transvulcania, Ice Trail, Pikes Peak and Zegama. She also recently won two golds and a silver at the European Skyrunning Championships. But she is also known for her attitude — her joy for life and love of the outdoors.

She says: “I'm super pleased to join Suunto. I've always loved Suunto watches and the Ambit2 S White is perfect for me. I love to explore in the mountains and it's super cool to see where you've been!

Besides trail running the Swedish athlete also enjoys ski-mountaineering, cross-country skiing, climbing — and baking. On her website she describes herself as 'devoted lover of the mountains'.

Forsberg joins an impressive line-up of athletes at Suunto that includes her team mate Kilian Jornet, Ueli Steck, XTERRA champion Conrad Stoltz, the record-breaking ski-mountaineer Greg Hill and the freediver William Trubridge and underwater explorer Jill Heinerth.

We're delighted to welcome Emelie and look forward to supporting her in her upcoming races and adventures,” says Suunto's athlete manager Liisa Palmu.
