Movescount redesign receives global iF Design Award

Suunto is pleased to announce that Movescount, its online sports community website, has been awarded the iF Design Award in the Communication Design category. This award is an important recognition of Suunto's success in providing online consumer services long after the point of purchase.

The re-design was the biggest overhaul of Movescount and the new design layout was created to improve brand recognition. Multiple new innovative features were introduced, such as making Movescount more interactive in supporting the GPS and swimming features found in Suunto Ambit watches. The design was made responsive for excellent usability across multiple platforms and a new typeface was also created.

The iF Product Design Award was introduced in 1954 and is a highly prized seal of quality annually conferred by the International Forum. Every year the iF attracts more than 2,000 product entries from around 37 nations, which are judged by renowned experts.
