We are proud to announce the launch of Suunto HelO2, our new computer for technical divers. Featuring the Suunto Technical RGBM algorithm, the computer allows you to decompress without steps between ceiling and floor. It also boasts a flexible and easy-to-use multi-gas dive planner.
To coincide with the release of Suunto HelO2, Suunto Dive Manager PC software has also been updated. It now supports the analysis of up to eight gases and features a multi-gas dive planner, making it fully compatible with the new device. The new software will be available in May.
Suunto went home a winner at the DIVER Awards 2008 recently. Continuing a long history of Suunto success at the awards, Suunto Vytec DS won the Product of the Year award and Suunto D4 was named the Newcomer of the Year.
At Duikvaker 2009, the biggest diving fair in the Netherlands, we ran a Suunto Inside Newsletter campaign. We gave a lucky fair visitor the chance to win a Suunto Vyper Air complete with wireless gas pressure transmitter. We are pleased to announce that the winner is Ben de Vries. Congratulations – Suunto Benelux will soon be in contact with you!
This month we take a trip into the realm of the Suunto HelO2 technical dive computer. Technical divers can be found at depths of up to 120 m, in caves, and – as this month’s image shows – exploring spectacular wrecks.
