Suunto t3 and Suunto GPS POD Win 2006 ispo Outdoor Award
 International jury chooses new Suunto Training products for functionality and user-friendliness
Within a week of their July debut, the Suunto t3 heart rate monitor together with Suunto GPS POD garnered the coveted Outdoor Award at the 2006 ispo trade show in Munich. Jurors selected the Suunto t3 for its Training Effect feature and compatibility with peripheral foot, bike and GPS PODs. The GPS POD (Peripheral Observation Device) was also selected for its ability to track speed and distance across a wide variety of sports.

Suunto t6 Wins “Equipmento do Ano” Award
Brazil Outside chooses Suunto t6 for features and wireless PODs
 After testing heart rate monitors from a variety of manufacturers, Brazil Outside magazine awarded the Suunto t6 the 2006 “Equipment do Ano” award. In choosing the Suunto t6, the magazine cited the heart rate monitor’s comprehensive training features, as well as its wireless compatibility with Suunto PODs for speed and distance.

Meet the smiling face of Suunto Training World
 If you’ve visited Suunto Training World, you’ve undoubtedly seen the smiling face of Suunto Ambassador Teresa De Rita-Cavlek.
Teresa is a PADI Master Scuba Diver, a Silver Medalist in the Fitness World Championships, an avid dancer and (reportedly) a wicked personal trainer. She also owns her own fitness center, which givers her an understanding of fitness from both professional and recreational perspectives. A resident of Helsinki, Teresa drops by Suunto offices on a regular basis to share her smile and wisdom.

New online video shows the simplicity of swapping straps
A month on the market and the verdict is in: When it comes to looks, the new
Suunto heart rate monitors have been perceived very enthusiastically. So much so, that
users are asking if they can personalize them with different straps. "I love
the Suunto t3, but can I get it with the red strap?" Of course you can (but
we call it "coral" instead of "red".) All Suunto t1, Suunto t3 and Suunto t4
straps are now interchangeable, and you can purchase them at authorized Suunto
dealers.
