Extreme running action
Whether running on mountain paths or jungle trails, new Suunto Ambassador Christian Schiester is a real pro when it comes to extreme running. This month Christian is going to attend a 100 km Antarctic race in the south pole. He will be using the Suunto X9i to navigate his way in truly challenging conditions. In his preparations for this arduous race, Christian used the Suunto t6 to achieve maximum effect from his training.
In a display of extreme running of a different kind, a team of eight Finnish runners with asthma proved that the condition won’t slow them down by completing the New York City Marathon. They had all used Suunto t3 heart rate monitors to successfully prepare for their challenge.
