Who they are and what they do
They are cave diving buddies. Most of their free time is spent diving and the rest with preparation for it :-)
Radek Husak - cave diver, UW photographer, mountain-climbing enthusiast.
He has been diving since 1997 and since 2000 has been a cavediving instructor. During the most of his dives he carries his camera Nikon D200 in Seacam case. He also dives as a guest photographer for Maritime Office in Gdynia and documents the wrecks in Baltic Sea. He enjoys wearing his Suunto D9 all the time.

Kamila Svobodova - cave diver, freediver.
She used to compete in finswimming but in 1988 she changed to scuba-diving. She has been doing technical and cave diving for last 3 years. Lately she plays a model on most of Radek's pictures. Her deepest free-dive is -44m and statics 4:25 min. About Suunto Mosquito she likes the very detailed depth and time recording interval.
Both are members of Czech Speleological Society and also active in "dry" caving.

Moravian Karst, Czech Republic
The most fameous of Moravian Karst - Punkva Caves can be found in Pustý Zleb. The caves were discovered in stages in the years 1909-1933 by Professor Absolon's group of speleologists. Dominating feature is Macocha abyss. The abyss is 138,7 m deep, with ground dimensions: 174 by 76 m. On the bottom of the Abyss are over 40 meters deep lakes - part of the Punkva river-bed, were we realize our exploration dives. In last 3 years we explored, surveyed and documented approx. 1500 m of these Karst underwater caves. Diving in such locations is very demanding - difficult transport of equipment, cold water, poor visibility and small places....
The Punkva Caves are an extension of the longest cave system in the Czech Republic, the Amateur Cave, whose corridors are over 40 km long.

Bue Marino, Sardinia, Italy
Great karst cave system with lenght approx. 15 km, partially accessible also dry-shod. Divers of Czech Speleological Society have started to explore here during 1980´s. We were members of 2 expeditions into this beautiful cave. During the expedition time we live inside the cave. Last year we have explored, surveyed and documented 980 m in only 3 dives, although they were quite long - about 4 hours each. And because the exploration was very far from the cave entrance each of us had to use 2 scooters and 4 stages S80. Rest of the expedition we were supporting other members in their dry cave survey.

Yucatan cenotes, Mexico
The Yucatan Peninsula is a porous limestone shelf with no above-ground rivers or lakes. Instead there are underground rivers, lakes, sinkholes and caves. The caves of the Yucatan were sacred places for the Mayan. A group of Czech and Slovak cavediving explorers (Xibalba team) realized already 7 expeditions into Yucatan underwater caves during which they explored 24 km in 3 different cenote systems. All these results are then provided to The Quintana Roo Speleological Survey who supports safe exploration, survey and cartography of the underwater caves and cenotes of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Currently the Xibalba team has the 6th longest cave on Yucatan - Sistema K´oox Baal - 19 km.
