A great dive is hard to put into words, and often equally challenging to put on film.
But those of us who explore with cameras occasionally return with images that truly capture our passion for diving. If you've surfaced with a shot that conveys the wonder, excitement, camaraderie or humor of diving, send it our way, and we'll give you a shot at winning a new Suunto dive computer. Of course, with any competition, there are rules. So read on...
The Suunto Underwater (UW) Photo Competition is for amateur photographers only (those who make 5 percent or less of their annual income through photography).
Photos must be submitted to competition@suunto.com between November 8, 2006 and March 30, 2007.
The winning photo will be chosen in April 2007 by a jury of Suunto employees and the following professional underwater photographers.
The grand winner will receive a Suunto Vyper2 or Suunto Cobra2 of winner's choice, along with other Suunto goodies.
Both the winning photos and the exceptional photos chosen by jury will be published in the Diving World in April 2007

To submit a photo, it must be yours. You need to have taken it, and it must be your intellectual property.
The photo submitted can be maximum of 5 MB and it needs to be in .jpg format.
In submitting an image, you grant Suunto the right to use it for media purposes.
