Story

Teresa, tell about yourself and why do you do these sports?

I was born in Finland, to a half Finnish and half Italian family. At the early age of 3 I started classical ballet.
Active life, challenges, nature, traveling and exploring has always been big part of my life. Passion for dance, movement, new sports and education are the motors which gives me strength to face everyday life's tasks.

What are the biggest moments of your life?

The three biggest moments of my life are:
Opening my own fitness and health center.
Winning silver in World Championships in fitness.
Very first open water dive experience.

What are your main achievements?

In 2001 I opened my own fitness and health center to Kauniainen, Finland.
Graduated 1994, degree in physical therapy.
5 years work in TV. I was a host of very popular TV programme "Who dares wins!" in Finnish channel 4.
Personal trainer at Fitness Academy of Finland (F.A.F.).
PADI Master Scuba Diver.
Group leader for dive expeditions to Croatia and Kenya, Africa.
Fitness World Championships in India, 2004 2nd place.
Fitness European Championships in Italy, 2005 3rd place.
Own stretching book released in April 2006.

What is your Suunto experience?

My first Suunto was Suunto t6 in fitness and training.
2005 I got my Suunto D9 dive computer, which is always with me in the open waters and even as an "everyday" watch.
Most exciting and unforgettable experience was a deep dive with my Suunto D9, last year in Croatia.
My next Suunto wristop computer will be Suunto G6, since I'm starting a new challenge - golf !
