Suunto X6 is a perfect tool for any cross sport such as mountaineering, hiking or cross-country skiing. Measuring and analyzing the surrounding environment minimizes the risks involved in traveling in unknown terrain. Information on your performance, on the other hand, provides you with knowledge necessary to improve your training.
In addition to having information available to you at all times, your Suunto X6 records and stores data for later analysis. You can view, compare, and analyze your performance with a specially designed PC software.
The technical features of the wristop computer, combined with the PC software developed for more graphical representation of your performance, and the SuuntoSports Internet Community, where you can share information with other like-minded cross sports enthusiasts from around the world, make Suunto X6 the device of choice for every true adventurer and outdoor sport enthusiast.
Deeper Understanding
Suunto X6 keeps track of your results and provides you with means to make rational decisions, whether on the secure running tracks of your city or when adventuring in the outskirts of civilization.
Accurate altimeter enables you to measure your vertical performance when jogging, hiking, biking or climbing.
Ideally suited for fast sports, advanced timing functions enable you to record virtually an unlimited number of lap and split times of your activity. The chronometer records accurate altitude profiles with 10- or 60-second intervals for up to 200 hours. The adjustable alarm works as an interval reminder, for instance, to remind you of regular hydration during your adventure or extended workout session.
Knowing your altitude, ascent/descent rate, compass bearing, weather trends, and barometric pressure enables you to make safe decisions, particularly when hiking in wilderness or climbing in the mountains.
Suunto X6 is not only an essential tool for mountaineering or hiking, but it is also a great analyst and indicator of your progress in your sport.
When traveling in the wilderness, safety comes first - Suunto X6 comes packed with solutions enabling safe and responsible hiking. You can use the alarm functions to alert you at certain altitudes, help maintain safe climbing speed on the mountains, or indicate an upcoming storm. You will be much better off using the compass and altimeter if caught in bad weather. The compass also guides you back when running in an unknown place or just strolling around in a foreign city.
For those who take their training seriously, Suunto X6 gives direct feedback that can be analyzed to further improve your training program.
