How to solve i-talk error in Suunto X9i and Trek Manager? Before recording any new logs, please delete all logs from the Suunto X9i and then calibrate the compass.
Tracks can still be downloaded to the Suunto Trek Manager software before deletion so if you need to transfer the track to Google Earth we have a solution:
1. Right click the track in Trek Manager and choose 'export to text file' then save it as an .sdf file.
2. Go to www.gpsvisualizer.com
3. Click the 'Browse' button in the box and select the location of your .sdf file. Choose Google Earth as the output format.
4. The website will now create a .kmz file. Click this file and download it.
5. Open Google Earth, click 'File' then 'Open' and browse for the .kmz file.
6. Done!

How to Solve a DLL Problem? After updating the Windows XP with the security patch from Microsoft (released April 3, 2007) the Suunto Trek Manager software will no longer run. Instead the following error message box appears:
"The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly.
The relocation occurred because the dll c:\windows\system32\hhctrl.ocx occupied an address range reserved for Windows System DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."
"Hotfix" solution
Microsoft has issued a "hotfix" for this, which can be downloaded from their knowledgebase article 935448.
The link is: support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/en-us
Please, remember to choose the same language for the installed fix as you have for your Windows, otherwise the installation will fail. |
