Movescount.com is a unique and easy-to-use community that gives sports enthusiasts an exciting platform to start exercising, get serious about training, or just share some of their best sports experiences with new-found friends from around the world. Anyone with an interest in sport and fitness can join in the fun – whether they own a Suunto device or not.
“Going mobile was a logical next step for Movescount.com. Since its launch in May 2010, membership has grown very strongly; we listened closely to our members, who were telling us that they wanted a mobile version,” says Janne Kallio, head of digital marketing at Suunto. “We want to offer our customers the best possible user experience, and mobile access to Movescount is a key part of this. The iPhone tracking application and the mobile version of the site were among the most requested items from our passionate fans.”
Track your Moves and plan your routes
The Movescount iPhone application makes it easy to track your outdoor Moves when running or cycling, for example, with core functions for speed and distance tracking. While tracking the Move, you can also open your pre-planned routes from Movescount.com – perfect for when you’re visiting new places and want to plan your running or cycling route in advance.
Every Move counts
When you finish your daily exercise you’ll see the results with the whole route tracked and details such as distance and duration recorded. You can also add your own notes; the tracked Move is automatically stored in your sports diary on Movescount.com. You can also check the overview for all your Moves from the last 30 days.
Customized for your team
You can also customize the look and feel of the application for your own club or team at Movescount.com.
