Spartan gets stronger
The Suunto Spartan solution will continue to improve with software updates scheduled for September, October, November and December of this year, and continuing into 2017.
The next scheduled updates are:
28.9. Android compatibility, improvements to daily use (such as alarm clock) and training functions, peer-to-peer coaching on Suunto Movescount.com
12.10. Ability to adjust default sport mode settings

The SuuntoLink application automatically notifies you as soon as updates are available whenever you connect the watch to your computer via the USB cable.
We have unfortunately identified the following connectivity issues in our Suunto Spartan Solution:
1. Suunto Spartan first time startup can't currently be done on Windows 8 without administrator rights to user’s computer. Learn more about the solution here. - Fixed on September 8th.
2. Some Mac computers may not recognize Suunto Spartan watches with software versions older than 1.1.24. Learn more about the solution here.
We sincerely apologize for these issues and are committed to fixing them as soon as possible.
If the issue affecting you persists regardless of the suggested solution, you can get your watch set up without additional cost by sending it to us. To do this, please send us an Online Service Request or call our support. This will take approximately seven business days. For a faster solution, we recommend using another computer if possible.

1. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL SUUNTOLINK
After the download, install the software by double clicking the downloaded file

2. CONNECT YOUR WATCH TO YOUR COMPUTER
Connect your Suunto Spartan watch to your computer with the provided USB cable.
Suuntolink opens automatically after the watch has been connected.
3. CONNECT TO MOVESCOUNT
Select Connect to Movescount and sign in to your Suunto Movescount account or
sign up if you don’t have an account yet.
After connecting to Movescount, Suuntolink transfers your Moves to Movescount and keeps your watch software up to date.
