How do sport mode settings in Suunto Movescount affect the battery mode settings in Suunto 9?

Suunto Movescount offers several sport mode specific settings such as GPS accuracy and display timeout which are as well part of the battery mode settings of your Suunto 9.

To find these settings in Movescount:

  1. Open Me > Watches > My watches.
  2. Select your watch from the list.
  3. Open Sport modes and select the desired sport mode from the list.
  4. Click on Show sport mode settings.

If you defined specific settings for a sport mode in Movescount and sync your Suunto 9 with Movescount, your watch will preserve the settings you defined via Movescount. If the settings match one of the three predefined battery modes, this battery mode will be activated. If not, a custom battery mode will be created.
If you modify these settings afterwards in your watch and synchronize then with Movescount, the sport mode specific settings in Movescount will be adjusted accordingly.
