Hello future-maker! We, at Amer Sports, are building exciting digital solutions for sports-lovers around the globe. Right now we are looking for a Cloud Developer to join our Cloud Services team. Whether you are already in an all-star team or still on your way there, this position is for the one who wants to take their cloud expertise to a whole new level.
The software and services built by the team form the backbone for IoT devices such as Suunto sport watches, various mobile clients and other connected products of Amer Sports’ global brands. The cloud services annually host hundreds of millions of sporting activities all around the world, dealing with a wealth of data which is our essential asset for providing users with the right experience.
In a nutshell:
You'll design and develop Amer Sports global cloud platform in a cross functional team, together with our design team, mobile and embedded software developers. We use public cloud services such as AWS, GCP and Azure as our backbone, in addition to backend software developed in Spring Boot and MongoDB.
The solutions you design and build are future proof and of high quality. You understand how to write maintainable code. We hope you're enthusiastic about keeping up to date on different cloud providers.
In this position, you are involved in designing and implementing software to support tens of terabytes of data with thousands client requests per second. You know how to deliver highly scalable cloud platform.
To win the race for this position you should have experience in:
Java and Spring framework
Public cloud services, preferably Azure
At least one of these database technologies: MongoDB, CosmosDB, RDS or DynamoDB.
To dominate the race, it helps if you have experience in:
Agile team principles
Microservices and database design
