Whistleblowing

We want to do what is right

Suunto strives to maintain a transparent business climate and high business ethics. We respect and value the safety of everyone affected by our business. All our employees and stakeholders are expected to follow and observe the fulfilment of our values and ethical codes and the requirements of the local and international legislation.

The Whistleblowing Channel

We have organized a confidential and anonymous channel for anyone to raise work-, or business-related concerns to us. The whistleblowing service is an early warning system to reduce risks and uphold confidence in our company.

The whistleblowing service can be used to alert serious risks to people, the organization, the society or the environment. In case employees or stakeholders suspect any violation of the legislation or the standards set in the Suunto Code of Conduct or related policies (Ethical Policy, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy), fraud, or misconduct, Suunto encourages notifying the issue to us.
If you feel you cannot raise the issue openly, you can use this channel to report it anonymously. You do not need proof of your suspicions, but all reports must be made in good faith.

Your report will be securely handled

The service is organized according to the EU Whistleblowing directive (EU 2019/1937) and all information is handled with trust and confidentiality. Any person raising issues shall be free from retaliation due to using the channel.
The whistleblowing service is provided by an external partner WhistleB, Whistleblowing Centre, to ensure anonymity. The communication channel is encrypted and password-protected.
