Suunto app is the future of our digital services
We launched Suunto app in Spring 2018 as the future of our digital services, with the desire of providing a better user experience for the Suunto community as a whole. If you haven’t checked out Suunto app yet, now is a great time!
You can download it today for iOS or Android.
Since the launch, we have added key functionality and features including activity-specific heatmaps and route planning (Suunto 9, Spartan) and sport mode customization (Suunto 9, Suunto 3 and Spartan). We have built basic compatibility for Ambit3 and Traverse watches (Move sync and GPS optimization) as well as EON Core and EON Steel Dive computers.
We’ve also added key partner integrations (beginning with Strava) and just announced our Suunto Cloud API which will enable many more partner / sports services to connect to Suunto app and add unique benefits for the Suunto community.
It is in this context that we will begin to wind down our previous service, Suunto Movescount, with a target of closing the service earliest in summer 2020. For all questions and information, we will be here to help all along the way and support with any inquiries you might have.
A key note: Your data in Movescount is safe and your Move data will be transferrable to Suunto app regardless of the product you connect with. The actual transfer will be enabled in the coming months (Spring 2019).
We will be communicating updates regularly through Suunto app, suunto.com, Suunto Movescount social media channels, forum.suunto.com, and via email newsletter.
