Google Pay
Google Pay™ is the fast, simple way to pay in stores with your Wear OS by Google watch. Now you can purchase your daily coffee without having to dig for your wallet or phone.
To use Google Pay on your watch, you need to:
- Be in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, or the US.
- Use a supported card.
Using PayPal on Google Pay isn't supported on watches.
How to pay with your watch in stores
Google Pay works in stores where contactless payments are accepted. Just open the Google Pay app, twist your wrist, and hold your watch face near the terminal until you hear a sound or feel vibration. If asked for your card type, choose “credit” – even if you are using a debit card.
Shop securely in stores
When you use your watch to pay in stores, Google Pay doesn’t send your actual credit or debit card number with your payment. Instead, an encrypted virtual account number is used to represent your information – so your real card details stay safe.
If your watch is lost or stolen, lock and erase it with Find My Device.
