Why does my watch show the wrong weekday?

Between January 1st 2020 and January 3rd 2020 a bug impacted Suunto 9, Suunto 5, Suunto 3 and Spartan family watches. The bug shows the day of the week as two days ahead of what it currently is (i.e. showing Saturday if it is Thursday).

This is only a visual bug on the watch, and exercises and daily activity sync normally (i.e. with the correct date) to Suunto app and beyond to partner services.

On January 3rd 2020 we were able to develop a solution correcting this bug that waa delivered through a software update. Please connect your watch to Suuntolink now to be able to install it on your device*.
